Pilot Projects

 

The Willamette Ecosystem Marketplace is currently in a two-year pilot testing phase. There are six active pilots under the program. The pilot projects are designed to be real, multi-credit examples of restoration sites.

Projects

Gales Creek project - stream project on forest land outside of Forest Grove enhancing fish habitat in a salmon bearing stream.

Half-mile Lane -  wetland and stream restoration on Gales Creek in Forest Grove consisting of riparian plantings, stream bank stabilization and culvert replacement.

Johnson Creek - stream project in Portland metro area removing invasive species and planting riparian areas.

Mohawk Creek - Springfield Golf Course in Springfield removing invasive species and planting riparian areas.

Woods Creek - stream project near Philomath removing invasive species and planting riparian areas.

Zena Forest - oak, prairie, stream and wetlands project near Salem including restoration to oak savana, oak woodlands riparian areas and wet prairie.
