Sadie Siders

WP Alum | Summer Fellow: Shift Health Accelerator

Sadie Siders has been working with Shift Health Accelerator since March of 2020 as a student fellow. Her work has been centered in researching Medicaid policy, hospital community benefit spending, and overall health care systems to identify flexible funding that can be used to address social determinants of health for our most vulnerable citizens. Sadie is striving for a society where health, social, and environmental issues are intimately integrated in federal, state, and local policy.

Sadie is currently working on her undergraduate degree from the School of Public Health at Portland State University and minoring in Community Development. Before moving to Portland to attend PSU, she has been working as both an administrator and clinical professional in the medical field for the last six years. In her free time, Sadie enjoys writing of any sort and spending time outdoors with her husband and son.
