The core of Willamette Partnership’s work is how to address complex challenges in a way that builds community. We have both a responsibility and an opportunity to reflect that commitment in the way we nurture our own organization and people. Investing in the strength, resilience, and integrity of our organization is a key part of our work.
Over the next three years, we will:
- Continue to evolve our WP culture that centers our core values and creates an inclusive and supportive environment for our staff, board, partners, and the communities we work with.
- Invest in our partners, both internally and externally. We will bring an abundance mindset to our development work, sharing funding openly with partner organizations and investing in fair and equitable pay, professional development, and mentorship opportunities for our staff and fellows.
- Share our work in a way that promotes rich and authentic connections among people. Our approach to strategic communications supports our mission, relationships, and financial sustainability.
- Increase the sustainability of both our funding model and our work environment. When we value, resource, and staff our projects well, our staff can excel at their work while also protecting their own well-being.
