Conservation funders are increasingly asking the question, “What did I get for my money?” Join Willamette Partnership on May 7, 2014 for a dynamic training on Getting the Ecosystem Services You Pay For.
Increasing pressure on natural systems reduces their ability to provide the services that people rely on, like clean water and natural places to play. Incentive programs for ecosystem services provide a mechanism to rebuild resilient ecological systems by building innovative connections between people who manage land and water and those who can invest in environmental improvement.
Willamette Partnership’s Getting the Ecosystem Services You Pay For workshop will provide a thorough and interactive introduction to environmental markets—what they are, where they are, and how they work on the ground.
