WP Alum | Summer Fellow: Accessibility Toolkit for Land Managers
Ashley Schahfer (she/her) is an accessibility advocate, consultant, and designer working with Willamette Partnership as a Summer Fellow developing an Accessibility Toolkit for land managers. The project goals are centered around expanding what access and inclusion look like in the outdoors for people with physical disabilities.
Ashley lives in Bend, OR because of her love for the outdoors, and that combined with 19-years of experience using a wheelchair, and two degrees in Architecture — her life mission has become thoughtful experience-based design and inclusion for the community with disabilities. She believes in the unifying force of outdoor recreation and is committed to making it accessible for everyone.
